Brand Architecture
We are one company !
From products and services to internal teams, we build trust and equity into the Q-Free brand through a simplified architecture focused on consistency and efficiency.
Visual Hierarchy
There are three different styles to build lockups for sub-brands, organizational brands, products, teams, events, and campaigns.
Primary Lockup
Q-Free logoType Arial Regular, height = “free”,All capsNORWAY

The primary lockup pairs Q-Free logo with tag line in Arial font, that is the same height as the "free" of the logo, and all are caps.

Used by Organizational brands, for example Q-Free USA, Q-Free UK ...

Secondary Lockup
Q-Free logoType Arial Regular, height = “free”All CamelCaseLaneWare

The secondary lockup pairs Q-Free logo with tag line in Arial font, that is the same height as the "free" of the logo, and all are CamelCase.

Can be used by Products and Services.

No Lockup
Type Arial Regular, minimum fontSize: 48pxStandard software

In some cases, there is no need for the Q-Free logo. This is either because the brand will mostly appear internally (teams) or in a situation where the Q-Free logo will appear independently of the brand for example for sub brands. By removing the Q-Free logo from this type of lockup, we avoid duplication and over-saturation in most cases. The name of the product, team, event, or campaign. It is set in Arial font type.

Can be used by Internal Teams, Products and Services.

Sub brands

Sub-brands are the distinct lines of business that service the needs of unique audiences.
Sub-brands should follow the brand guidelines and be an extension of our main brand.
Sub brands should newer be named with a Q in front of it, for example Q-tolling, Q-systems ...

Criteria

  • Unique entry point and customer workflow (i.e. standalone app)
  • Product or a service that needs its own branding

Design guide lines for a sub brand

Design should follow our main brand, all logotypes should consist of a single word, all caps letters, without any graphics, just the type.

For that type Arial Bold font should be used, since the "Free" in Q-Free logo is Arial.

The colors for the sub brand should be our main brand colors also. Black and red.
